Can an iphone send an email automatically from the draft folder?

This is what happened: apparently one night somehow a message I had saved in my draft folder in my iphone was sent automatically to another person (even though I didn't actually send it ... I was sleeping at the time). On top of this, while I know the message was sent because the recipient responded to it, the message doesn't appear in my sent folder. So, either I have become a sleep walker or I'm thinking there is a glitch on the iphone or on my email server (AIM) that can send messages on the draft folder automatically without my sending it.
