How can i change my facebook message settings into the new system?

i want to change my message settings in to the new system ....in which when you press enter it goes automatically and all the smiles really work....please can anyone tell me how to change it????....all my sisters have it!! i awfully need it!???please please please please......i really want my smiles to work
